Canine Companions is a charity organization which trains dogs to be companions for the handicapped.
When I was asked to do a painting for their charity fundraiser in Orlando Florida, I had not painted dogs at that time so wasn’t sure what I could do.
I eventually came up with this idea, the little girl anticipating her dogs arrival.
The original sold for $25,000, I have since painted more with the subject of dogs such as my popular “All Dogs Go to Heaven” - JW
