The Chevelle featured in Car Show was sold for $97,000 at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2011 car auction where this painting made its debut. It’s been a long day at the office; wouldn’t anyone want to come home to find this scene? Or perhaps this is the aftermath of the doting wife coming into the garage to offer her hard working man a cold drink… either way, it’s a show alright.
It seems that a nice pair of legs is a close second to a nice chest in this artist’s body of work. Car Show can be interpreted many different ways, although it is clear that this is a show for two.
