"Those who know me and what a big Zeppelin fan I am were often baffled by the fact that I’ve never “gotten the Led out”. I have wrestled with my approach for this piece for some time, not knowing whether to do a traditional live piece or try and incorporate some the images that conjure in my mind while listening to the band. Knowing that I would at least have to have Page and Plant if not for the whole band in a live piece became somewhat of a conundrum for me logistically as it would leave little room for anything else.
I also wanted to incorporate the imagery of a Zeppelin without the standard over used Hindenburg or airship references that are all too common among images of the band. The answer finally came to me with the concept of a live shot poster, torn from a magazine and taped to the side of the mythical airship’s led panels." -Stickman
